Purchasing a property is likely to be one of the biggest investment decisions you will ever make. It is therefore vital that you obtain professional independent advice regarding your purchase.
Survey
Follwells offer the RICS HomeBuyer Report. This is a mid range survey suitable for most conventional properties built within the last 150 years. It will help you:
- make an informed decision on whether to go ahead with buying the property;
- decide what is a reasonable price to pay;
- take account of any repairs or replacements;
- consider if you need any further advice before exchanging contracts
Valuation
You may not require such a comprehensive Survey as detailed above, in which case we can offer a more basic level of inspection and report which focuses on the value of the property. This is more appropriate for modern properties built in the last 10-15 years.
We can also provide a certificate of value for other other purposes such as Inheritance Tax (Probate), Matrimonial, Capital Gains Tax.
